Knit Ladder of Life Socks for Local Rescue Workers

ladder of life sock

Show your appreciation for the rescue workers in your community who work to save lives during times of need, national crises or disasters and every day. Knits managing editor Ann Budd designed the Ladder of Life Socks to knit to donate to firefighters and other rescue workers. Materials include worsted weight yarn, US size 8 and 9 double-pointed needles, some stitch markers and tapestry needle. After knitting the socks contact your local fire station, hospital or police station to donate the socks.
